The Board of Pahl c Works of City of l�_ehmcnd , iridi ana, , met in
re;`u tar session at the office of said Board Thursday August 10th,
1922, at 9 o' cl°eh A. L. All the members of said Boa.rd ,LieLsrs , Laid,
NC/fail & Henley being present , the following proceedings were had ,viz ;
Vim. Stevens , ex-City Clerk , retorted to the Board, that in i"!arch,1919 ,
he had received from Mary ii. Liasti n, the sum of Nuu.00, for the ri
•privilege of taping sewer in Nord End Street , at her pro-,erty- in ,
front of Tract No. 163, Official Map , City he never having had any
notice that sewer had been tapped, as the former board authorized
him to hold the check anti 1 further not_ ce , and as said
- Is deceased, he did riot care to he ld this money, Upon the recommend-
ation of The City Attorney, The Board authorized Mr . Stevens , to
tuna the money over to the ci ty, and receive quietus there:ior . .
The Board met to hear all persons intere s t ed or whose pray erty is
affected by the improvement of Butler Street , by grrtveling road,
walks on both sides & cement curb E: gutters on bGth sides from Sher-
mar! -Street to south end of Butler St. under Improvement :resolution
No. 650-1922. Remonstrance having been fi led by John Klinger, the
Board on Doti on rescinded said resolution.
