Thursday July 20th , 19 22.
The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond , .Indiana , met
in regular session at the office of said Board Thursday July 20th,
1922, at 9 o' clock A. M. All- the members of said Board Messrs , zt
Land , McFall and. Henley , being present , the following proceedings
were had , to-wit :
The Board meets to hear remonstrances, if any, of pefsons primari-
ly assessed on account of construction of sewers in Peacock Road,
Madm West 5th to alley west of West 8th Street and territory be- -
tween Peacock Road & Richmond Ave . and West 5th & alley west of
Northwest 8th Street and Wrightiand Addition to City, as provided
for by Improvement Resolution No. 616-1921. After hearing all per-
sons interested who appeared, the board approves a final assessment
roll, confirming in all things , the original assessment roll as
heretofore approved and allows a final estimate for the construct-
ion of the said improvement in favor of John F. Hipskind for
6'16 , 639 .95 less 5% retained for one year., said assessment roll is
further ordered transmitted forthwith to the Department of Finance.
The Board meets to hear remonstrances; if any, of pa-sons primari-
ly, assessed on account of the construction of Sanitary Sewer in
the alley west . of South 6th Street , from South "H" to "I" Street
as provided for under Improvement resolution Ho. 627-1922. After
hearee ll persons interested who appeared, the Board approves a fin-
al assessment roll, confirming in '411 things the original assess-
ment roll as heretofore approved, and directed the assessment roll
be forthwith transmitted to the Department of Finance .
A petition for the construction of cement roadway in the alley be-
tween North 13th & 14th Street from C . to D. Street 'was received
and referred to Engineer for plans etc . ,
Permission, was granted George A. Gray to cut the curb Lot 3 Hittle
& Lyndes Add. an west side of,No/rth 14th Street.
The Clerk was directed to�yr pair the street at his scales Fort W
Wayne Ave , under the supervision of the City Engineer.No. 260.
Complaints from Council were read by the Clerk & Referred to Street
Commissioner.
The Clerk was directed to advertise for bids for Public Comfort
Station to be installed under Light Plant Office .

The Geo. Knollenberg Co. were granted'-to place"No Parking" signs
in alley in rear of their store between_ 8th & 9th Street.
The Board allowed claims' to the amount of $7340 .83 , also payrolls
to July 16th , 1922.
Fire Chief Miller was directed to have the tubes removed from boil-
er in basement of city bldg. and have the boiler examined & report.
The Board then adjourned,
