All the members of said Board Messrs , Land , McFall and Henley being present , the follow;ilia, proceedings were had, to-wit : - Pursuant to post p on.eilent , the Board met to take up the natter cf remonstrance and hearing on the improvement of the alley re t c-e Gig 7bUJ 1 ;tr tl & 18th Streets by cement roadway from South "A" Street • north to the north to rminal of said alley; thence east to South lath Str eet , under Im'prcvemeiat resolution No. 64 -1922, in the absence Gf the ngineer cY the Board not having proper information, the Board continued the hearing on said resolution unti 1 Monday June 26th, 19'22 at 9 o clock A. M. Pursuant t_o postponement, the Board met to take up the n .tter. of the remoras trance and hearing in im t ter of the improvement of the alley between North 1T;t1-1 G; 14-th Stree + , by cement roadway from North "D" to Tr " S tree He , . The Board• unanimously adopted Improvement Heso Intl on No. 647 -19 , for the improvement of the 1st alley e south of Main S tr e et , by cement roadway from South 20th to 21st Str e et . - The Board received bids for repairing the boi ler in basement of City Building , as follows , viz : " Jacob Kern , bid: To remove 38 , 3" flues 14' long, re air hand-hole in front head of boiler, replacing 36 , 3" flues Lap-weld flues 6'188.00 or using seamle ss cold drawn flues for the slain of 2U9. 64 , I to get the old flues t2iw ell out . " Graham 8c Becker, bid : Will refine boiler, patch on head. front end_ and replace brick" works using lap-weld flues , for the sum of 209.CO. ." nos ; Turner '& Son., bid : - Take out old tubes, clean bo filer, install patch ar ou„d front hand- hole , furnish & install new tul)es , replace furnace lining & brick work which must be taken out in or der to do the above works , Al labor & material for Jab Complete- - -,g155.85 .using -Chico Lap-' end tube s.. Seamless or Charcoal iron tubes can be furnished at ad.i_iti aria] pri ce . The Board received bids for the impr ovemeiit of North .TTD" Street, by constructing a cement sic ewalk on south side of sheet from North 13th Street to the alley west between , 2th :' 17th Street under Improvement Resolution No. 639-1922 , as follows vie: .1Janiel G. Burkhar.dt , being the only 1i received and being below the estimate of the City Civil Em^ineer the contract was so awarded.
