The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond , Indiana,
met in special session at the office of said Board Tuesday
May 9th , 1922, at 1lo3O . o':cl.ock A. M. The following members
- of said Board being present , Messrs , Land and McFai l. Mr.
Henley , absent. Two members of said Board being present the
following proceedings were had, to-wit: -
The Board met to award the contract , for the improvement of
Center Street, from Northwest 2nd to Northwest 5th Street,
under Improvement Resolution No.623-1922. The Clerk reported
- that no petition had been received, for the paving of said
street other than which had been heretofore designated by the
Board . The Board now confirm their original order designating
that said Center Street, from Nw. 2nd to NW.5th Street be
improved with concrete roadway & cement curb & gutter, in ac-
cordance with the plans and specifications heretofore adopted
under said Improvement Resolution No. 623-1922. and thereupon
award the contract for said improvement to J. Z. Teegarden,
under his bid received on April 27th, 1922, which bid is the
lowest and best bid received and being under the estimate of
the City Civil Engineer.
The Board on motion of Mr. McFail, award the contract for paint-
ing of the "Park Property" under the specifications heretofore
adopted , to Ellis Frame , as per his bid of May 8th, 1922, at
the price of $598 .00, for furnishing all paint , oil, tools and
labor, for two coat work on same .
The Board then adjourned,
