The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond , Indiana , met • •
in regular session in the of-fice of said -Board Monday March 27th ,
1922, at 9 o' clock A. M. All the members of said Board , Messrs ,
Land , McFail & Henley being present . The following proceedings
were had , to- wit : -
A remonstrance against improvement of North "D" Street , by cement
curb & gutter on both sides of street , from North 12th to 12th St.
was presented, a majority of the resident owners having signed the
same , the Board ordered the same filed, and direct the improvement
of said street be not started at . this time .
The Bill of the Smith-Osborn Coal Sales Co. in amount of li256 .85
for coal ,delivered to Light Plant Sep. 4, 1920 , was again taken
up, and on presentation of correspondeneeby 0. Smith of said Co .
was ordered paidq correspondence to be attached to" bill.,
The Board met to hear remonstrances, if any, of persons interested
or whose property will be affected by the improvement of South 5th
Street, by construction of Sanitary Serer in South 5th Street ,from
South "H" Street 'sewer north to . South "G" Street , as provided for
under Improvement Resolution No. 620-1922. No one- appearing or re-
monstrating , the Board decide that the benefi is to property liable
to be assessed- for said improvement 'are eugai to the cost- of same
as estimated by the City Engineer,, and upon motion of Mr. Henley
confirm said resolution without Ito di.fi cation.
The Board met to hear remonstrance s , if any, of persons interested
or whose property. is affected by the improvement of South 6th St.
by the construction of a Sanitary Sewer in said 6th Street , from
South "H" Street Sewer to a point north If South •6th Street , where
the C . & 0. Ry. crosses said 6th Street , as provided under Improve-4
merit Resolution No. 621-1922. No one appearing or remonstrating
against said improvement . The Board decides that the benefits to
property liable to be assessed for said improvement are equal to
the. cost of same as estimated by the City Engineer, and upon the
motion of Mr. Henley confirm said resolution without modification.
The Board then adjourned
