City of Richmond , Indian,
Monday March 13 th , 1922.
The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana , met
in regular session in the office of said Board on Monday March
13th , 1922, at 9 o' clock A. M. All the members of said Board ,
Messrs, Land, 11 cFai1 & Henley being present , the following pro -
ceedings were had , to -wit : -
The Board received report of appraisement madd by appraisers ap-
pointed to appraise Ford car , known as "Trouble Car", M. E. L. &
P. P. at $215.00.
The Board awarded contract for painting metal stack at M. E. L.
P. P. to G. C. Winders, of Cambridge City , Indiana , said Winders
to furnish paint and labor ; also to repair the lining at top of
said stack City to furnish meterial for said lining , at the price
of Fifty ( 5.0.00) Dollars.
The question of the bill rendered by The Coffield-Sanders & .Co.
expert accountants in the amount of 3261 .43, was on motion after
a conference with Mr. Perk of said Company, referred to City At-
torney Wm.. H. Kelley.
The Board unanimously adopted Improvement Resolution No. 628-1922
for improvementnof alley between North 9th & 10th Street , by con-
structing a cement roadway in said alley from 1st alley north of
North "A" Street to North T"B" Street .
The Board approved the plans of Mr. L. C. Welden , Sup' t. Light
Plant , for One direct turbine driven fan ; also Four heavy non-
return valves , for M. E. L. & P. P. he turbine driven fan to
be paid for out of Depreciation Fund as contemplated in making
the appropriations for 1922. .
The Board then adjourned,
