The Board of rubli c v" orks of the City of Yi_ichr. ond, Indiana, met in regular session in the office of said Board Thursday , .i)eCeL':- her, 29 , 1921, at 9 A.M. All the members of the said Board be- ing present Messrs. von rein, Price , and Peitz , the following prccdedings were had to-wit :- The Board directed the Finance Dept . to pay the following con- tra.ctois the 5% reserves retained- on the follow:ing improvements : • Daniel G. Burkhardt I/ Resolution #581 - 1920 0 65.32 Z. B. Pyle Co. - hesoluti on #582 - 1920 168.06. The Poard aprroved the Primary assessment Roll in the matter of improvement Rescin.ti on #607-1921, providing for the construction of cement curb E.L. ;?litter l'' ft vide , mid a cement sidewalk 9z c ft wide on the west side of North-west 7th Street from the Peacock Road south to a point 330' ft. The Board met to hear remonstrances and take final action on Declaratory Resolution #157-1921 to condemn ground for park pur- poses, tire- lot and land to be conder-Red and appropriated is lot 6 , laid out by the Richmond Trading and Manufacturing Company in the auth-vyest one-quarter Section 32, Township 14, Range 1 west and known as Lot No. 6 of the Blanchard et al Addition to the City of Richmond , Indiana . No remonstrance being filed with or presented t•. the Board against said proposed condemnation, and thereupon being fully advised in the matter the Board took final acti on on said resolution confirming without mcl_ifi cation all former action -taken on some , and the Board now orders that a list or roll be prepared of owners or holders cf property , and of-valuable interest therein sought to be taken, or to be in- juriously affected, which list -or roll shall also describe the property beneficially affected, and the Board instructed the Clerk to award 5180.00 damages to the oYeaer of said lot . The Board received a communication from the American Surety Co. of New York in regard to bond covering contract of the R. H. Beaumont Co. with the City of Richmond for delivery and erection of scraper & hoist for the Municipal Electric Lighting & Power Plant , asking for the date of the final acceptance of `ci d con- tract and the date of. final ;payment. Referred to tr. Dillon, ht Plant. . ofl},the Z1 __. � The Board received a report from J . D. Lyon, Consulting: Engineer summarizing the work done in the Municipal Electric Lighting w Power Plant during the year 1921, and recommendations for the future . • The Board accepted the report and ordered it placed on file recommending it to the incoming Board.
