In consideration that Mr. von Pein was granted permission to tap the sewer between South 7th & 8th Streets running north & south , for lots in Beallview Add. opposite "L" Street by the former administration and same was neglected to be recorded; this privilege is hereby renewed by the Board. The Board of Public Works of the -City of. Ai.chmond, Indiana, met in' regular session in the office of said Board Thursday, Decem- ber 15, 1921, at 9 A.M. All the members of the said Board be- ing present Messrs . von Pein, Price, and Peitz the following pro ceedinge were had to-wit:- . . •. The Board received a bill from the Richmond Realty Board for the sum of 095.00 for the appraisement of certain property for the City. The Board instructed Mr. Feller City Atty. , to prepare an ordinance for an appropriation covering this bill, to present to Council at their next meeting. The Board instructed Mr. Miller, Fire Chief, to order the re- newal of the storage batteries for the Fire Dept. The Board received bids for the construction of a Relief Sewer in Randolph Street ; running from the river bottom on Lot No. 6 Blanchard' s et al Out-Lots ; thence in a north-westwardly direct- ion over and across Lot 6, Blanchard' s et al Out-Lots and Lot Ho 13, Anna Madden' s Sub-Div. ,tc Randolph & North-west 1st Street ; thence west in Randolph Street to North-west 5th Street ; thence south to the Peacock Road under Improvement- Resolution #615 - 1921., as follows to-wit :- 0 Thursday, December 15 , 1921. 185 Z. The job to be completed within 90 days from this date excluding zero weather, with a forfeiture of 100.00 per day over the 90 days . Seconded by Mr. Peitz moti on prevailed. The reason that the above contract was given Mr. II:ip;kincl is that he ej7rees to complete the job within 90 days from date , and the next best bid was 4i mcnths. I/ The Board then adjourned.
