The Board of Public Works of the Oity of Richmond, Indiana , met in
regflar- session in the office of said__Board Monday, December 12th,
1921, at 9 A.M. All the members of the said Board being present
Messrs . von Pemn, Price , and Peitz the followi i:-z proceedings v'ere
had to-wit :-
The Board approved the Primary Assessment till in the .utter of
Imnro vement Resolution #578-1920 for the improvement of South "E"
Street from South 5th to South 16th Street .
The Board received the following communication:

pies of proposed with Stanley W. Hayes , and would advise that since this pro-
position was first submitted to you we have entered into another
arrangement more advantageous to the City , thereby a contract will
nct be necessary, as we propose using the Public Highway.

The Board received a communication from the Community Service of
Richmond, . Iiidi •nna , in regard to Christmas Celebration, which was
ordered placed on file. _
The Board signed a lease by and between the City of hi chr;ond and
184 Eonaay, December 12th , 19.21.
James Fry for two ( 2) rooms on the 2nd floor of the Light Plant
Office Bldg. on South 8th Street at Eighteen (018 .00) Dollars
per month to June 1st , 1922, and to Harold Mitchell for the en-
tire 3rd floor of the Light Plant Office Bldg. on South 8th St.
at Three Hundred ( 300.00) Dollars per annum to. December 31st ,
1922.
In consideration that Mr. von Pein was granted permission to
tap the sewer between South 7th & 8th Streets running north &
south , for lots in Beallview4Add.. opposite "L" Street by the
former administration and same was neglected to be recorded,
this privilege is hereby renewed by the Board.
The Board then adjourned.

The Board of Public Works of the City of r.ichrlond, Inciana, met
in' regular session in the office of said Board Thursday, Decem-
ber 15, 1921, at 9 A.M. All the members of the said Board be-
ing present Messrs . von Pein, Price , and Feltz the following pro
` ceedings were had to-wit :-
The Board received a bill from the Richmond Realty Board for the
sum of 095.00 for the appraisement of certain property for the
City. The Board inotructed Hr. Feller City Atty. , to prepare an
ordinance for an appropriation covering this bill, to present to
Council at their next meeting.
The Board instructed Mr. Miller, Fire Chief, to order the re-
newal of the storage batteries for the Fire Dept.
The Board received bids for the construction of a Relief Sewer
in Randolph Street ; running from the river bottom on Lot No. 6
Blanchard' s et al Out-Lots ; thence in a north-westwardly direct-
ion over and across Lot 6, Blanchard' s et al Out-Lots and Lot No
13, Anna Madden' s Sub-Div. ,tc Randolph & North-west 1st Street ;
thence west in Randolph Street to North-rest 5th Street ° thence
south to the Peacock Road under Improvement' Resolution y615 -
1921, as follows to-wit :-
