A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE TRANSFER OF JURISDICTION OF A
PORTION OF DRAUDEN ROAD FROM THE PLAINFIELD TOWNSHIP
ROAD DISTRICT TO THE VILLAGE OF PLAINFIELD.
WHEREAS, Plainfield Township Road District has agreed to transfer jurisdiction of
portions of Drauden Road to the Village of Plainfield's municipal street system;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF PLAINFIELD; AS FOLLOWS:
1. That subject to the Illinois Department of Transportation's approval, that portion of
Drauden Road commencing at Renwick Road south to the present Village of Plainfield
limits be added to the Village of Plainfield municipal street system and deleted from the
Plainfield Township Road District system, all in Will County, Illinois.

WX IEREAS, the Plainfield Township Road District and tha Village of Plainfield have entered into an
agreement for the transfer of jurisdiction of a portion of Drauden Road to the Village of Plainfield's
Municipal Street System;
NOW, TI3EREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Plainfield Township Road District that subject to the
Illinois Department of Transportation s approval, that portion of Drauden Road commencing at Renwick
Road, south to the present Village of Plainfield limits , be added to the Village of Plainfield's Municipal
Street System, and deleted from the Plainfield Township Road District Street System, all in Will County,
Illinois; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Clerk of Plainfield Township is hereby directed to transmit five (5)
copies of this Resolution to the State of Illinois through its District Engineer s office at 201 West Center
Court, Schaumburg, lIlinois. The Clerk is further directed to transmit on (1) copy of this Resolution to each,
the Village of Plainfield and the Will County Engineer.
