RESOLUTION NO. 1313
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE TRANSFER OF JURISDICTION OF A
PORTION OF 143RD STREET FROM THE PLAINFIELD TOWNSHIP ROAD
DISTRICT TO THE VILLAGE OF PLAINFIELD.
WHEREAS, Plainfield Township Road District has agreed to transfer jurisdiction of
portions of 143rd Street to the Village of Plainfield's municipal street system;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF PLAINFIELD, AS FOLLOWS:
1. That subject to the Illinois Department of Transportation's approval, 1,320 feet of 143rd
Street from Route 30 west to the present Village of Plainfield limits, and that portion of
143rd Street from the present western border of the Village of Plainfield on 143rd
Street west a distance of 2,656 feet be added to the Village of Plainfield municipal
street system and deleted from the Plainfield Township Road District system, all in Will
County, Illinois.

`NHEREA.S, the Plainfield Township Road District and the Village a# Plainfield have entered into an
agreement for the transfer a# jurisdiction of portions of 143` Street to the Village of Plainf field's Municipal
Street System;
NOW, THPRPFORE, BE TT RESOLVED, by the Plainfield Township Road District that sub jest to the
Illinois Department of Transportation s appzoval, the 1,320 feet of 143' Street from U.S. Route 30 west to
the present Village of Plainfield limits, and that poztian of 143` Street fzam the present western, border of
the Village of Plainfield on 143' Street, west a distance of 2,656 feet , be added to the Village of
Plainf field's Municipal Street System and deleted from the Plainfield Township Road District Street
System, all in Will County, Illinois; and
BE TT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Clerk of Plainfield Township is hereby directed to transmit five (5)
copies of this Resolution to the State of Illinois through its District Engineer s office at 201, West Center
Court, Schaumburg, Illinois. The Clerk is #uzthez directed to transmit on (1) copy of this Resolution to each,
the Village a# Plain#ield and the Will County Engineer.
