Mr. Peitz moved that as the bid r:as above the C' t:y Engineer' s
estimate that it be rejected , and the Clerk instructed to re-

The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Inda.na , met
in regular sessi on in the office of said Board Honda`; November
7th , 1921, at 9 A.L. All the members of the said Bo .rd being
present Messrs. von Fein, Price , and Peltz , the follor•ing pro-
ceedings were had to-wit : -
The Board approved the petition of Chas. T. H. Bond for permis-
sion to cut the curb under private contract for a 10' 6" drive-- •
way at 208 North 17th street subject to the approval of the City

Engineer. '
The Board met to hear all persons interested in, or whose pro--
- perty is affected by the grading L graveling of South 21st St.
from South "B" St . to lie evert o_n Road under Improvement Resolu-
tion #608-1921. No written remonstrance having been filed , and
after hearing Walter -Butler arLc. J. W. Eindell who made verbal
re :ionstrauces the Board took final action on said resolution the
being confirmed without modi ficati on., and the Clerk was ir--
str?'oted to o,dvertise for bids .

The Board instructed J. P. Dillon, SnDt . of the 1.:1 ht Plant, to
make arrancements to refuse any coal that does not seem to he up
to the quality bid on by the Price Co. , before same is unloaded,
as requested by said company.
The Board then adjourned.

The Board of rubli.c Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met in
regular session in the office of said Board Thursday, November 10th
1921, at 9 A.M. Two members of the said Board being present Messrs.
Price and Peitz, absent Mr. von Pein, the following proceedings
were had to-wit :-
The Board met to hear all persons interested in or whose property
is affected by the construction of a- cement roadway in the alley
between South-west 1st & 2nd Sts. from South-west Front St. north
to the lst alley running east and west , south of West Main St. un-
der Improvement Resolution #609-1921. After hearing all persons
who appeared, and a written remonstrance having been filed signed
by Omer C. Wine and 7 others, and the Board being duly advised in
the matter Mr. Peitz moved that all former action on said resolu-
tion be recinded. Seconded by Mr. Price motion prevaileda
The Board took up Improvement Resolution #606-1921 for the improve
meat of Reeveston Road from South 18th to South 19th St. Howard A.
Dill, petitioner, requested that the Board take no further action
on said resolution. Thereupon Mr. Pel_tz moved that all former ac-
. tion on said resolution be recinded. Seconded by Mr. Price motion
prevailed.
A written remonstrance was filed with the Board before the ten (10)
day period expired for such action, which was signed by Herbert L.
Keck and two ( 2) others against any further action on Improvement
Resolution #608-1921 for the improvement of South 21st St. from S.
"B" St . to Reeveston Road, whereupon, Mr. Pelts moved that all
former action on said resolution be recinded. Seconded by Mr. Price
motion prevailed.
The Board unanimously adopted Improvement Resolution #610-1921 to
improve South 7th St. from Main to South "A" St. ; by paving the
roadway of said street with one of the modern kinds of city pave-
ments to-wit : Brick-Asphalt-Creosoted Wood Block - or Concrete.
