RESOLUTION NO. 12 9 5
A RESOLUTION PROHIBITING THE INSTALLATION
OF ALL NEW LAWNS, SOD AND/OR SEED FROM July 18,
2001 TO SEPTEMBER 3, 2001.

VILLAGE CLERK
WHEREAS, the prirnary function of the Village's Water System is to provide sufficient water
for drinking and fire protection
WHEREAS, the installation of new lawns, during the summer months, typically requires
more watering than lawns installed in the Spring or Fall.
WHER(=,AS, the watering of new lawns, during the summer, can cause undue stress on the
Village's Water System.
WHEREAS, the Village supports reasonable water conservation programs and encourages
all residents to conserve water.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF PALINFIELD, WILL COUNTY, ILLINOCS, AS
FOLLOWS:
The installation of all new lawns, sod anal/or seed, shall be prohibited
from July 1$, 2001 to September 3, 2001.
