The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana , met
in regular session in the office of said Board Thursday, October •

• 27th , 1921, at 9 A.T:i. Al?__ the members of the said Board being
present liessrsa-von.-rein;- Price;-and Peitz the follov:ing proceed
ings were had to-wit : -
The Board took up the bids for cable for the Municipal Electric
Lighting and Power Kant subriitted Monday, October .24th , 1921,
and upon the recommenclati on of Mr. J/P/Dillon, Supt . of the
Light Plant , which is now on. file , Mr. Price -moved that the bid
of the Simplex mire & Cable Co. be acceyted and the contract so
awarded.
p Seconded by 1.Mr.. von Pein motion prevailed. -.
The Board allowed and ordered paid out of the Police Dept. Fund •
claim of the Tropical 'Paint & Oil Co. for the sum of $134.52.-
The Board upon the recommendation of J. P. Dillon, Supt. of the'
Light Plant allowed and ordered paid to Thomas Turner Son
770.00 as part Payment on their contract price for the furnich-
ing and installing of air ducts at the Muni ciral Electric Light-
ing & Power Plant. •

The Board met 'to hear re:rcr_sfrarices• and take- final action on
Declaratory Resolution #154-1_021 to open and lay out South-west
let Street.. After hearing all persons who -a:peared and no writ--
ten remonstrance :having been filed or- presented tc the-Board, but
Lewis H. Smithmeyer .made a verbal- remonstrance against said pro-
posed opening. The Board being fully advised in the matter took
final action on ,said resoluti on confirming without modification
all former acti on taken on same , and the Bea-rd ordered that a
list or roll be prepared of all owners 'or holders -of Troperty and
all valuable interest therein sought to le taken or to be injurie
ously affected, which -list or roll shall also describe the n-rcper
ty beneficially affected.
