RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING SALE OF CERTAIN PROPERTY
WHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret (the "Borough") through its police
department have confiscated certain bicycles and miscellaneous items, specifically
set forth on the attached schedule (the "Property"); and
WHEREAS, the Borough has determined that the Property is not need for
municipal purposes; and
WHEREAS, N.J.S.A. 40A:12-i4 et permits the Borough to offer for sale such
property as is unneeded for public purpose.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by Mayor and Council of the
Borough of Carteret that the Chief Financial Officer be directed to offer at public
auction to be held on November 6, 1999 at the Municipal Court Building (the
"Property").
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that notice of said auction be given to the public
as prescribed by law.
Adopted this 12th day of October 1999
and Certified as a true copy of the
original on October 13, 1999.
