RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE OF PLAINFIELD, ILLINOIS
REGARDING A PUBLIC HEARING UNDER THE BOND ISSUE
NOTIFICATION ACT
RESOLUTION 1253
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE VILLAGE OF PLAINFIELD, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. In accordance with the Bond Issue Notification Act, 30 Illinois
Compiled Statutes 352, as amended by Public Act 91-595, the President and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Plainfield, Illinois shall hold a public hearing concerning the Village's intent to
sell approximately $18,000,000 principal amount of its general obligation alternate bonds. The
public hearing shall be held before the President and Board of Trustees at the regular meeting of
the Board to be held on June 19, 2000, at 7:00 p.m., at the Village Administrative Office, 530
West Lockport Street, Second Floor, in the Village.
Section 2. The Village Clerk is authorized and directed to cause notice of the
public hearing, in the form required by the Band Issue Notification Act, to be published not less
than seven days nor more than 30 days before the date of the hearing in the "Enterprise, " a
newspaper of general circulation within the boundaries of the Village. The Village Clerk is also
authorized and directed to cause a copy of said notice of public hearing to be posted, at least 48
hours prior to the start of the public hearing, at the office of the President and Board of Trustees.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately.
