A RESOLUTION PROHIBITING THE INSTALLATION
OF ALL NEW LAWNS, SOD' AND/OR SEED" FROM JUN>~ 12,
2000 TO SEPTEMBER 4, 2000.
Vt~HEREAS, the primary function of the Village's Water System is to provide sufficient water
far drinking and fire protection
V~HEREAS, the installation of new lawns, during the summer months, typically requires
more watering than lawns installed in the Spring or Fall.
WHEREAS, the watering of new lawns, during the summer, can cause undue stress on the
Village's Water System.
WHEREAS, the Village supports reasonable water cvnservatinn programs and encourages
all residents to conserve water.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE TI' RESOLVER BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF PLAINFIELLI WILL COUNTY, ILLINOIS, AS
FOLLOWS:
The installation of all new lawns; sod andfor seed; shall be prohibited
from Tune 12, 2000 to September 4, 2000.
