The Board cf Public works of the City of lichmond, Indiana , met in
regular session in the office of said Board Monday, August 29 , 1921,
at 9 A.M. Two of the menbers of the said Board being present Messrs
vcn Pein and Peitz, absent rir•. Taylor , the following proceedings
were had to-Tit : -The Board uti .nimoUbly adopted Declaratory hesolution #153-1921 for
the vacation of all that portion of Garden Avenue lying west of the
C . & O. li.R. and east of South 5th Street.
- The Board approved And signed the contract & bond of Daniel G.
Burkhardt, contractor under Improvement Resolution #605-1921.
The Board approved the petition of John W. Coulter for permission
- to lay under private contract a cement driveway infront Of 7 124
State Street , subject to the 11SlZ' ietlGl & approval of the City Eng.
The Board received ;t ccL'i'L'iunica ion from E. M. Campfield in regard to
the condition or South 7th Street , which was reietred to the Eng-
ineering Dept . .

- A report was filed with the Clerk Of the sale of certain buildings
belonging the1 •- NorthSf. the
Ci. ��� on 3rd ., - . to Garfield Dixon for
sum of ci1400.00. •
- The specifications for the piping to be done in connection with the
new turbine installation for the Municipal Electric Lighting and
Power Plant as prepared by J . D. Lyon, Consulting B ngineer, were
read to the Beard, and on motion of Mr. Peitz ;seconded by Mr. von
Pein such specifications were adopted unanimously by the Board and
were ordered placed on file, and the Clerk was instructed to adver-
tise for bids.
