- 15 , 1921, at 9 °A.M. Te;-o of the members of the said Board being
present Messrs. von Fein. and Peitz , absent Mr. Taylor, the fol-
lowing proceedings were had to-wi;t : -
The. Board instructed the Clerk to publish a notice stating that.
the City of Richmond will sell at Public Auction, Thursday, Aug.
25th , 1921, at 2 o' clock. P.M. certain bui?dings belonging to the
City on North 3rd Street at "D" Street .

The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met
in regular session in the office of said Board Thursday, August
18 , 1921, at 9 A.M. All the members of the said Board bei ng
present Messrs. von Pein, Taylor, •laid Peitz , the foilov, ng pro-
ceedings were had to -wit : -
The Board approved and signed Supplemental Proposals of the West-
inghouse Electric & .Mfg. Co. covering changes which are necessary
in connection with the 5000 Turbine for the Municipal Elec-
tric Lighting & Power Plant, which were first ,approved by J. D.
Lyon, Consulting Engineer far the City. ( See Proposal ) .
The: Clerk presented the complaints from Council of Monday, Aug-
ust 15th , 1921.
The Board approved the petition of P. W. Blossom for permission
ar
to cut the curb infront of Lot tl J. Lather' s Add. on the south
I/ .
side of South "A" Street between South 9th & alley, west , for an
8' ft driveway, subject t e the inspection and a1 r royal Of the
City Civil En •= veer.
On the recommendation of J.P.iiillon, Geri .Mgr.• of the L.P. , the
Board instructed the Clerk to advertise for bids for the privilege
of placing an advertisement on the basks of the Lien t Plait month-
ly meter-reading slips , and monthly bills, as suggested by Mr.
Dillon.

Board accepted same and ordered an assessment roll :^rerared.-
The Board instructed the City Engineer to-write to F. E. Slick,
I/ Garbage Contractor, iii regard tc the L oor service in collecting
the garbage.
The Board then adjourned.
