Richmond, Indiana, met in regular session in the office of said Board Monday, June 27, 1921, at 9 A. S. All the man b ers of the said Board being present - Messrs. von Pein, Taylor, and Peltz the following proceedings were had to-wit :- - The Board met to hear remonstrances if any of persons Primarily Assessed on account of the vacation of the 1st alley running east & west, south of South "A" St. from South 3rd to South 4th Street under Declaratory Resolution #151-1921. No one remon- strating the Board approved the Final Assessment Roll of Benefits & Damages comfirming in all things the original assessment roll heretofore approved, and thereupon declare said alley as design- ated above vacated, and now direct that a copy of said assessment roll be forthwith transmitted to the Dept. Of Finance. The Board met to hear remonstrances if any of persons Primarily Assessed on account of the improvement of the alley between Randolph & Lincoln Streets by constructing a cement roadway in said alley the full width thereof from West 2nd to West 3rd St. under Improvement Resolution #584-1921. No one appearing or re- monstrating the Board approved the Final Assessment Roll confirm- ing in all things the original assessment roll as heretofore ap- proved, and directed the same to be transmitted forthwith to .the . Dept. of Finance. The Board approved the Primary Assessment Roll in the matter of Improvement Resolution #597-1921 for the improvement of the alley between Lincoln & Randolph Streets- by constructing a cement road- .. way in said alley the full width thereof, from West 1st to West 2nd Street. • The City Engineer reported the completion of a contract under Im- provement Resolution #594-1921 for the improvement of both sides - of North "H"-Street by constructing cement walks; also cement. curb & gutter on both sides of said street from North llth to N. 12th St. The Board accepted same and ordered an assessment roll prepared. The Board received a notice from the Secretary of the Public Ser- - -vice Commission of Indiana stating that the hearing in the matter of the petition of the Chesapeake & Ohio Railway Company (Indiana) and the Chesapeake and Ohio Railway Company (Virginia) for appro- . val of indenture of lease will be held on July 9, 1921, at 11 A.M. • at the offices of the Commission, State House, Indianapolis, Ind. , which was referred to the City Attorney. . Mr. Peitz moved that the City Atty. be instructed to prepare an App. Ord. to present to Council for an appropriation transfering from the Truck App;.
