RESOLUTION NO. 95-44
A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF TRUCKEE
AUTHORIZING THE DEPARTMENT OF GENERAL SERVICES OF THE
STATE OF CALIFORNIA TO PURCHASE PUBLIC WORKS VEHICLES
PURSUANT TO GOVERNMENT CODE SECTION 14814
WHEREAS, the Department of General Services of the State of California provides
purchasing services for local government pursuant to Government Code Section 14814; and
WHEREAS, the Town of Truckee has a need for certain public works vehicles.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE
TOWN OF TRUCKEE, THAT
1. The Office of Procurement, Department of General Services of the State of California is
authorized to purchase one (1) Group 1, cabin chassis regular cab, four-by-four, 10,000 gross
vehicle (GVW), 135" wheel base for and on behalf of the Town of Truckee pursuant to Section
14814 of the Government Code; and
2. The Public Works Director is authorized and directed to sign and deliver all necessary
requests and documentation in connection therewith for and on behalf of the Town of Truckee.
The foregoing Resolution was introduced at a Regular Meeting of the Town Council of the Town
of Truckee, held on the 7th day of December, 1995, by Council Member Drake, who moved its
adoption, which motion being duly seconded by Council Member McCormack, was upon roll call
carried and the Resolution adopted by the following vote:

Council Members Drake, Eagan, McCormack and
Mayor Pro Tempore Carpenter
NOES: None
ABSENT: Mayor Cross
