AUTHORIZING PAYMENTS FROM UEZ FUNDS TO BELL ATLANTIC
AND PSE&G FOR TOWN CENTER PROJECT
WHEREAS, Resolution #99-80 authorizing the Carteret Urban Enterprise Zone
Advisory Board to request funding for the revitalization of Cooke Avenue between
Harris Street and Romanowski Street (Town Center) was passed on February 18,
1999; and
WHEREAS, the Urban Enterprise Zone Advisory Board was authorized to request
Urban Enterprise Zone funds to pay for said revitalization in the amount of
$760,000.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and Council of the
Borough of Carteret does hereby ratify the following payments:
Bell Atlantic - Not to Exceed
PSE&G - Not to Exceed
$55,000.00
$125,000.00
Adopted this 12th day of October, 1999
and certified as a true copy of the original
on October 13, 1999.
