All the members of the said Board being Tr esent Messrs. von Pein, Taylor, and Peitz the folio in„ proceedings were had to-wit : - The Board unanimously adopted Improvement R< sc luti on 604-1921 to improve the alley between South I1th & 12th Ste. by construc- ting a cement roadway the full width of alley from South "L" to South "E" Street. The Board received, a noti ce from the Secretary of the i-'ublic Ser- vice Commission of Indiana, that the hearing of the petition of the Liberty Light & Power Co. for Inter-connection of Transmi.s-- . sion Lines would be held Tuesday, June .28th, 1921 at 10:00 A.M. in rcom 401 State house , Indianapolis, Indiana, which was re- ferred to the City Atty. wi th instructions to be present at the hearing, and to oppose the petition to the fullest extent. The Board received bids for the improvement of North "A" St . from N. 2nd to N. . 3rd St. ; and N. 2nd St . from N."A" St'. . ncrth on 2nd St. to a point where the C. &: O. N.A. Tracks cross N. 2nd St. , un- der Improvement Resolution -575-1920 as follows to-wit : - Daniel G. Burkhardt bid: Six foot cement walk per square ft. Straight curb & gutter ( left wide) per linear ft. 1.20 Circle curb & gutter ( 1' ft wide ) per linear ft. 1.38 Cement walk intersections per square ft . .33 Driveway curb rer square ft. .30 Cement roadwc; per square yard 3.10 • J. L. Teegarden bid: Six foot cement sidewalk per square ft . 4 .20 Straight curb & gutter ( lift wide ) per linear ft . 1.10 Circle curb z, cutter ( 1' ft wide ) per linear ft . 1.50 Cement walk intersections , per square ft. .30 Driveway curb , per square ft . :30 Brick roadway , per square yard 4.80 Cement roadway per square yard -- 3.26 On motion of Mr. i e tz the Board entered its preliminary order designating that said street as des3ribed above be improved by paving the roadway with cement in accordance with plans & Speci- fications. L ' Bills to the amount of ' 21, 719.13 were allowed. I/ The Board apr roved the various Pay Rolls up to June 16 th , 1921. The Board then adjourned.
