APPROVING INSTALLMENT PAYMENTS FOR THE CPAC CAPITAL
IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
WHEREAS, the Carteret Business Partnership (CBP) has been designated the
Redeveloper for the Carteret Performing Arts Center (Arts Center) and has entered into
certain agreements for the construction of the same; and
WHEREAS, the Borough is making provisions for payments to the CBP in support of the
construction of various capital improvement components comprising the new theatre
facility and complex.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, as follows:
1. That the Purchasing Department is hereby authorized and directed
to make provision for installment payments to the CBP for the above
referenced purposes in an amount not to exceed five million dollars.
2. That a copy of this resolution shall be forwarded to the Borough's
Purchasing Department and the Carteret Business Partnership.
