RESOLUTION APPROVING AGREEMENT WITH NEW JERSEY
TRANSIT REGARDING THE CONSTRUCTION OF NEW BUS
SHELTERS
WHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret (the "Borough") is constantly searching for
~vays to improve and upgrade the community; and
WHEREAS, New Jersey Transit ("NJT") has proposed to construct four (4) new
bus shelters within the Borough; and
WHEREAS, the Borough has determined that the creation ofnexv bus shelters is
in the best interest of the community and its residents.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the
Borough of Carteret that the attached agreement with New Jersey Transit is
hereby approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and Municipal Clerk be and are
hereby authorized to execute said agreement on behalf of the Borough.
Adopted this 12th day of October, 1999
and certified as a true copy of the original
on October 13, 1999.
