The Board of. Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met
in regular sessi on in the office of said Board Monday , May 9th,
1921, at 9 A.M. All the members of the said Board being present
Messrs. von Pein, Taylor, and Peitz the following proceedings
were had to -wit : -
The Board met to hear all persons interested in or whose property •
is affected by ' the construction of a cement roadway it thEialley
between Lincoln & Ra:n.dolph Streets from West let to West 2nd• St. .
under Improvement Reso•lut•i.on #597-1921. After hearing all persons
who appeared, and no remonstrance having been filed the Board deS-
ci (led that the benefits to property liable to be assessed for said
improvement are equal to the cost of same as reported by the City •
Engineer, and thereupon took final action on said resolution, the
same being confirmed wi thout mods fi cat ion, and the Clerk was in--
structed to advertise for bids.
The Board met to hear remonstrances of persons Primarily Assessed •
in the matter of benefits..8+ damages for the wi Bening of North 3rd
Street from North "D" St . south tinder Declaratory Resolution #147.-
1921. After hearing all pars cns who appeared, and John . J. Steele
remonstrating against his award of dare.ges of 3,000.00 , and the
City Atty. not being present to advise the Board the Board con-
tinued the hearing until Thursday, May 12th, 1921, at 9 A.M.
The Board then adjourned.
