streets,alleys and public places of ar,d in the town of �fellaburg,Iowa,

A.D. for the purpose of inataliing,erecting,
main fining and using poles,wlrea and supports thereof and therefor,
and pipes conduits a.nd mains and all apparatus whatsoever Por the
purpose of gene rating,furnishing and conducting electricity for power
lightin and heating purposes,and for such purposes inciQental thereto
a.s ma prohibitefl by law.
Be It Ordained by the Town Council of the Incorporatred Town of
Welisburg,Iowa,tha.t said Town of Wellsburg,iowa,hereby gives and grant
unto J.B. Calflerwood, xan�xaxt><it�a6x�nodwsx
S�X�nxaYx3s[sxz�2siax>aSx and to his successors and asslgns,the free
use of the streets,alleys and �ublic places of and in the is Town,
Por he term of Twenty-five(25 years Prom and after.the�day of

maint fining and using poles,wires a.nd supports thereof and therefor,
and pipes,condui is and mains and arty and all apparatus whatsoever for
the purpose oP generating furnishing and conducting electricity for
power lighting and heating purposes and for such r=urposes incidental
thereto as may not be prohibited by law. That J.B. Calderwood may

All posts or poles used in the construction of the electrrieie line

It is iu'�ther provided,riowever,that when it shall be necessary for
any person or. persons to move alone_ or across any of trio streets or
alieys,ary vehicle or structure of suctr rieight or size a9 to interfere
with arty of the poles or wires of said J.B.CalflerwooQ,the saifl .T.B.
Calderwood shall,upon receiving twenty-four hours' notice thereof,
temporarily remove all of his poles and wires so far as necessary,to
allow tt-.e passage of such vehlc]es or. structures Por a reasonable
parlofl of time,(not to exceed eight hours')but shall c.nly be required
to do so between the houra'of eight o'clock A.M. acid four o'clock P.M.
of said day and Por each removal made tP.e parties requesting such re-
moval,shall pay ,and the J.B.Calderwood rosy collect in advar,ce� the rea-
sonable cost of such removal as aforesaid,anfl for all repair or re-
placement thereof and therefor¢; said removal shall. kaxrs�nti;rsd not be
required,however,on dark or cloudy days or when persons would be
seriously irconvenieneed by the loos of light.
