The Board of Public Works of the City. of Richmond , Indiana, met in• regular session in 'the office of said Board Thursday, March 3, 1921, at 9 A.I,T. All the members of the said Board being pre.- sent Messrs . von Fein, Taylor, and Pel tp the following proceed- ings were had to-wi t : • The Board unanimously adopted Declaratory Resoluti on #147-1921 • • to wi den North 3rd Street as follows : Beginning at the inter— section sect ion of the present Last Line of North Third Street v:1 th the • . - south line of North D Street and running thence east along the • South Line of North D Street (z-4' feet ) to a point distant thirty five feet, measured perpendicularly from the said present East Line of North Third Street ; thence southwestwardly parallel to the said East Line of North Third Street and distant thirty-five feet therefrom, to intersect the East Line of said North. Third Street ; thence northwardly and northeastwardly, along the pre- sent East Line of North Third Street to the place of beginning. The Board met to hear all ?persons interested in or whose pro- perty is affected by Improveirent Resoluti on #588-1921 to con- struct a sanitary .sewer in the alley between Ratliff & Ridge Streets from School Street to Stevens Street , no one appearing and no remonstrance having been" fi led the Board decided that the benefits to property liable to be assessed for said impro- vement are eoual to the co st of same as reported by the City • Civil Engi neer, and 'thereupon take fi nal acti on on said Resolu- tion", the same being confi rmed wi thout modifi cation. The Board instructed the Clerk to advertise for bi ds under Im- provement Resoluti on. #575-1920 to improve North "A" Street from North 2nd to North 3rd St. , and North 2nd_ St . from North "A" St. north on North 2nd to the C. & 0. R.3. tracks. The Board instructed Mr. Hollarr_, Supt. of Parks, to prohibit ball playing in either of the followi rig City Parks : South 7,th Street ; 'South 10th Street , & Starr Park. The Board instructed the Clerk to advertise for bids for One Year' s advertising on waste cans in the business district. The Board instructed the City En gi neer to have— repair wagon for the Street Dept . built per his instructions at the price sub- mitted by Carl Bage, of 125.00. • The Board then adjourned.
