A meeting of Council was held to -day at 5:15 p.m. xd.th::Counc ilna,n Farr
occupying the Cha,ir,iyor Harris being absent,and Councilmen Cann,Espy,
He ovitz,Walthour,and Mr Brennan.
The report of the managersof an election held this
hours of 10:00 a.m. and 5 :00 p.m. for a Mayor and

We further certify and make known that an election held fora Mayor and
six Councilmen for the Town of Tybee to serve for the ensueing two years
commencing May 3rd 1926,held this day April 5th 1926,Thcmas Gamble for
ayer and J.Ferris Cann,Carl E spy, Y[ m .M.Farr,H.Horovitz,Fwrn.G.Logan and
Henry C.Walthour ferCouncilmen,received the majority of the votes polled
at said election,and are therefore duly elected.
Given under our hand and officdal signatures this fifth- .day:ef April

On motion of Councilman Horovitz/ enry alaunkley was elected erk of
Council and Treasurer, ex- officio, for a period of one year at a salary
of $ 1800.00 per annum,payable in monthly installments of $ 150.00 each.
The managers'w-3s thanked for the interest shown andfby the efficient
way that they handled the election.
There being no farther business Council adjourned subject to the call
of the mayor.

• The Mayor called to the attention of Cauncilthh necessity of provid-
ing some means whereby the income of the Town could be increased,
the present income being entitely inadequate to take care of the
needs of the Tow., a,nd mr Espy madea ration that the tax rate be in-
creased `
