The report of the managersof an election held this hours of 10:00 a.m. and 5 :00 p.m. for a Mayor and serve the ensueing two years from May 3rd 1926 „way; State of Georgia ) County of Chatham ) By virtue of the statutes was held this day in he T and six Councilmen,A.rd we, upon counting the otes f po Thomas Gamble J.Ferris Cann Carl Espy . Wm.M.Farr H .Horovitz Wm.G.Logan Henry C.Walthour day between the six Councilmen to read, as follows; in such cases,made and provided,an election own fall in the Town of Tybee, for a Day-or the Managers of said election do certify that lled,the following is the result; For Mayor For Councilman rr rr rr 45 votes 45 45 45 45 H 45 a 45 We further certify and make known that an election held fora Mayor and six Councilmen for the Town of Tybee to serve for the ensueing two years commencing May 3rd 1926,held this day April 5th 1926,Thcmas Gamble for ayer and J.Ferris Cann,Carl E spy, Y[ m .M.Farr,H.Horovitz,Fwrn.G.Logan and Henry C.Walthour ferCouncilmen,received the majority of the votes polled at said election,and are therefore duly elected. (Signed ) Johnson A.Byers Manager ecen d b oun ilman Walthaur On motion of Councilman Horovitz/ enry alaunkley was elected erk of Council and Treasurer, ex- officio, for a period of one year at a salary of $ 1800.00 per annum,payable in monthly installments of $ 150.00 each. The managers'w-3s thanked for the interest shown andfby the efficient way that they handled the election. There being no farther business Council adjourned subject to the call of the mayor.
