No one appearing , and no remonstrance haying been filed the Board now takes final action on said 'Resolution same being confirmed without modification, and the Board orders that a roll be prepared of all owners or holders of property, and. all valu- able interest therein sought to be taken or to be injuriously affected, which list or roll shall also describe the property beneficially affected. The Board fixed the price to be assessed as benefits to be 02.50 per linear front foot of Howard Street on South-west 2nd St. against the south part of lot 16 owned by hose L. Dadi sman , and the north art of lot 15 owned by D. Fill-- man Lauplin; also 5 2.50 per linear front foot of Howard Street on_South-west 1st St. against lot.. 12 owned by Laura L. Watt, and the north part of lot 13 owned by Frank, M. Price all in. Oliver Kinsey' s Addition. Bills to the amount of 20,020.18 were allowed. Feb. 10, 1921. • The Board of Public Works of the- City of Richmond, Indiana, met in regular session in the office of said B3oard^ Thursday, February 10, 1921, at 9 A.M. All the members of the said Board being present Messrs. von Pein, Taylor, and Peitz , the • following proceedings were had to-wit:- The Board granted to Wm. Suttle for gardening purposes for the - season of 1921 lot #25, Abijah Moffit' s Add. for the rental of 02.50. The Board approved the Contract & Bond of Henry W. Harris as principal, and the United States Fidelity & Guaranty Co. of Baltimore, Md. as Surety , in the matter of installing a gaso- line and air dispenser infront of 1101 & 1103 Sheridan Street (See Contract & Bond) . • The Board approved. the Primary Assesment Roll of benefits and damages in the matter of the vacation of Howard St. from SW. 1st to SW. 2nd St. under Declaratory Resolution #143-1921, and fixed the 24th day ,of Feb. , 1921, as the day of hearing Thursday, February 10, 1921. 63 against said assessment . The petition for the construction of a cement curb, gutter, and sidewalk on both sides of Ratliff Street from School to Stevens St. which was referred to the Engineer for papers was referred back to the board by the Engineer stating that the tax valuation of the property will not stand for the improvement . The complaints from Counci 1 of Monday , r?ebruary 7th •were referred to the City Engineer with the exception of the complaint in regard I/ to Mr. Slick, and the Clerk was instructed to notify Er. Slick to appear before the Board at their next meeting,and also to write Dougan, Jenkins & Co. agents for Mr. Slick' s bondsmen that Mr. • Slick is not living up to his Contract in hauling the garbage, and that from this date on the City will hold his bondsmen responsible . The Board decided that the matter of the readjustment of assessments in 'regard to the Improvement Resolution #582-1920, which, was taken under advisement at their last meeting,cannot be done. J. H. Bentley, Supt. of Public Schools, appeared before the Board in regard to the sewerage from the sewer in the alley between Lincoln & Randolph sts. back of the Baxter School backing into the school building basement and asked for immediate relief. The Board instructed the Street Commissioner to open up said sewer at once. J. D. Lyon' s assistant Mr. Coughlin made a verbal report in regard to the progress of the repair work being done at the Light Pleat. The- Board then adjourned. Pres. of the Board.
