The board of Public Works of the Cit,T of Richmond; Indiana, met
in rez..nlar session in the office of said Board Thursday, January
20, 1921 , at 9 A.M. All the member: of the said Board b ei ng pre •
' sent Messrs. . von Pein, Taylor, and Feltz , the following proceed-
ings were had to-wit : -
The City Attorney notified the Board that. the hearing of the
Injunction Case against the filling up of the old Natl. Road
is set for February 16th , 1921.
The Board granted Chas. Fish permission to garden lot #6 back
of #17 Bridge Ave. for the season of 1921 for the sum of y 5.00.
Mr. Feltz moved that a member of the Street Dept. be - sworn in
as Special Patrolman to regulate traffic over the Doran Bridge.
Mr. Miller brought up the matter of standardizing. the Fire Hose
Couplings. The idea was favored by the Board, and Mr. Peitz
moved that this matter be left to Mr. Miller, Fire Chief to see •
to. Seconded by Mr. Taylor motion prevailed.
The Board unanimously adopted Declaratory Reoslution #144-1921
to widen the Commons Road, known as the Peacock Road, on the
south side from the alley east of NW. 7th St. west to the rest
corporation line , also on the north side from NW. 5th St. to the
alley east of Tit;0 8th St. , more specifically described ( See Reso. )
The Board received bids for a Horizontal Cylindrical Oil Storage
Tank, 12,000 gallon, capaci ty,a s follow;; to-wit : - !

One 12,000 gal. tank 9' 10" x 20' 5/16" x 5/16" , weight 11,470 lbs.
