All members of the Board were present. L. Robinson made a motion to approve the minutes of the March 7th and March 21st meetings as printed. Seconded by G. Ansley. Motion declared carried. G. Ansley made a motion to approve current invoices for payment. Seconded by R. Selfridge. Vote by roll call: Ansley, aye; BeaYrm, aye; King,. aye; Robinson, aye; Selfridge, aye. Five ayes, no nays. Motion declared carried. G. Beahm made a motion to authorize Village Engineer draw up bid specifications for resurfacing of Desplaines Street from Commercial Street to Chicago Street with ,bituminous surface. Seconded by K. King, 'Vote by roll call: Ansley, aye; Beahm, aye; King, aye; Robinson, aye; Selfridge, aye. Five ayes, no nays. Motion declared carried. J. King made a motion to authorize installation of buzzer system on front door to Police offices. Seconded by G. Beahm. Motion declared carried. J. King made a motion to charge Park District $30.00 per month for rental of. office space in Village Hall. Seconded by G. Ansley, Motion declared carried. G. Beahm made a motion to hire Glenn Kinley far cleaning and maintenance work at $4.00 per hour for two days per week at present and at a later date at least one day per week. Seconded by L. Robinson. Motion declared carried. Arlo Simmons was appointed to the Plan Commission to fill the vacancy created by Irv Johnson, who moved from the area. Action on underground cable for street light in vicinity of 16 Maple Court was tabled until next meeting. Action on annual maintenance contract for new Royal typewriter, Police Department was tabled until next meeting. April 26, 1977 at 3:00 p:m. is the .date set by .Village of Bolingbrook for preliminary discussion session for boundary agreements. - 2 - VILLAGE BOARD OF TRUSTEES MEETING April 4, .1977 G. Ansley made a motion to pay vouchers issued to Walter E. Deuchler Assac., Inca far Whispering Creek Special Assessment No. 1 and Na. 2, which have been sold to GGH Corporation. Said Vouchers are to be checked by Clerk and Treasurer regarding interest, Seconded by J. King. Vote by roll call: Ansley, aye; Beahm, aye; King, aye; Robinson, aye; Selfridge, aye. Five ayes, no nays. Motion declared carried. R. Selfridge made a motion to authorize Village Engineer to prepare a sketch showing how water & sewer lines wa.l1 be extended to Graver Farm and report of estimate of cost, to be paid by Fred Santerelli, Developer. ~"'-'""~ Also to include Bada, Developer far Weller property to be paid by Bada. Richard Lambert was present with a proposal of pre-annexation agreement for 215 acres, three miles West of Village limits in Kendall County for airport. R. Selfridge made a motion that the Board would be favorable to annexation of 215 acres, for an airport. Seconded by J. King. Vote by roll call: Ansley, aye; Beahm, aye; King, aye; Robinson, aye; Selfridge, aye. Five ayes, no nays. Motion declared carried. Bernard Kubinski was present representing Lians Club relative to placing a mobile unit in front of Plymouth Congregational Church an Lockport Street for Glaucoma, Diabetes, Hypertension Drive, Permission granted. Representatives from Plainfield Historical Society were present ~':~'-q~~es.'C~ng temporary use of former Village Hall site (610 Lockport Street) for their use until they can locate a permanent location. No formal action was taken. R. Selfridge made a motion to reimburse Donald Pearson for aver-payment water and sewer service for a single family residence as compared to two-family. Seconded by G.
