The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met in
regular session in the office of said Board. Thursday, December 30,
1920, at 9 .A .M. .Tyro rsemb:ers of the said. Board being present Messrs-
. Tailor and 'Pei tz , absent Mr. von Pei.n, the following proceedings
were had. to-wit : -
The Board met to hear all persons interested in or whose property
is affected by improvement ties olution 583-1920 for the construct-
ti on of a Sanitary Sewer over and across lot #28 Original Plat of
Oakland in the rear of lots on the west side of South 7th St. from
South J to South Street. No one appearing and no remonstrance
having been filed the Board decided that the benefits to property
liable to be assessed for said improvement are equal to the cost
.of same as reported by tie City Enc•i neer, and thereupon take final
action on said resolution, the same' being confirmed, without modi -
fi cati on, and the Clerk instructed to advertise for bids.
The City Civil Engineer reported the completion of the contract
under Improvement Resolution 582-1920 . Mr. Feltz moved that the
report be accepted and the Clerk ordered to prepare an assessment
roll. , Seconded by Mr. Taylor motion prevailed. •
The Board approved the Primary i.ssessment. Roll in the nn tter of
-the Improvement esoluti on 582-19'0 for the construction of a
Sanitary. Sewer beginning at the sewer in SW. let St. at Howard. St.
thence west in Howard St. to the alley running north and south be-
tween SW. 1st & SW. 2nd. St . ; thence north in said. alley 133' ft, al-
so south -in—Said alley 200' ft. - -
The Board received a petition signed by G. W. Robbi ns and nine (9 )
others for the passage of a resoluti on provi ding for the construc-
ti on of, a cement roadway- in the- alley between W. Main &: Kinsey St .
from W. 2nd to 3rd St. Referred to the Engineer for papers.
Bills to the amount of 3'32,558 .84 were allowed and ordered. paid.
• The Board. approved the various payrolls up to January 1st , 1921.
The Board then adjourned.
