The Board of Public 4iorks of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met
in regular session in the office of said Board Monday , December,
13, 19.20 , at 9 A.M. All the members of the said Board being pre-
sent Messrs. von Pein, Taylor, and •Peltz the following proceed-
ings were had to-wit :-
The Board received a petition for the passage of a resolution pro-
viding for the construction of a cement roadway in the alley be-
tween Randolph and Lincoln from NV. 2nd to NW. 3rd St. signed by
Walter Vossler and six others. Referred to the City Engineer for
papers.
The Board received a letter from the Starr Piano Co. signed by •
Walter Butler in regard to Forest E. Slick not having as yet re-
moved . the dirt -and waste material from the Cumberland or Natl.
Roadway, and asked the Board to take drastic measures to see that
their order is complied with at once. The Board took same under
advisement.
The Board instructed the City Engineer, Street Commissioner, Park
Supt. and the Supt. of the Light Plant to place and decorate a
Municipal Xmas Tree at the Corner of North 9th & "A" Sts. .
• The Board then adjourned.

The Board of Public 1Norks of the City of Richmond , Indiana, met
in regular session in the office of said Board Thursday, Decem-
ber. 16, 1920 , at 9 A.P.Z. All the members of the said Bca rd being
present Messrs. von Fein, Taylor, and Peitz , the following pro-
ceedings were had to -wit : -
The •
Board met to hear remonstrances of persons Primarily Assess-
ed on account, of the construction of a cement roadway in the al-
ley between Lincoln and Pearl Streets from West 1st to West 3rd
Street under Improve:,ent h esoluti on #580-1920. No one appearing
or remonstrating the Board approved the Final Assessment Roll
confirming in all things the original assessment roll as hereto-
fore approved, and now direct the same be transmitted forthwith
to the Dept. of Finance.

The Board approved the Primary Assessment Roll in the matter of
Improvement Resolution U 581-1920 for the construction of a cement
roadway in the alley between North "D" & "E" Streets from North
22nd to North 23rd St .
The City Engineer submitted a report and Final Estimate of the
work done by Slattery & Larson, -Contractors for the re-flooring
of the Dorna Bridge. Cost of improvement as per contract
'19 ,475.00. Mr. Peitz moved that the report be accepted. Second-
ed by Mr. Taylor motion prevailed.
The City Engineer submitted a report and Final Estimate of the
work done by Burdsall & Willett , Contractors for the construction
- of concrete & brick wall in the South Boiler room at the Municipal.
- Electric Lighting & Power Plant. Contract price 4 7, 694.00. Mr.
Peltz moved that the report be accepted. Seconded by Mr. Taylor
motion prevailed.
Bills to the amount of ?1, 210.37 were allowed and ordered paid.
The Board then adjourned.

The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana , met in
regular sessi on in the office. of said Board Monday, December 20th,
1920 , at 9 A.M. All the members of the said Board being present
- Messrs. von Pein, Taylor, and Peitz the following proceedings were
had to-wit : -
The Board approved the Contract & Bond signed by Forest Monger as
pri ci pal, and the United States Fidelity & Guaranty Co. as surety
in the matter of installing a gasoline & oil dispenser infront of
his place of business r519 North "D" St.
Bills to the amount of k'11,790.65- were allowed and ordered paid.
The Boars' approved .the various pay rolls up to December 16 , 1920.
The Board then adjourned.
