A RESOLUTION ENDORSING THE FINAL WIKA.DUKE SRA STUDY
WHEREAS, the final WIKADUKE SRA study is the product of an over four-year
intergovernmental planning process between local governments in the WIKADUKE
Study Area and Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT); and
WHEREAS, WIKADUKE Planning council members endorsed at their July 1999
meeting the final WIKADUKE SRA Study in its entirety with only a slight modification
of the WIKADUKE Trail neaz the Village of Oswego.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Village of Plainfield does hereby
endorse the final WIKADUKE SRA Study with the aforementioned modification and
supports continuing efforts to seek implementation of the Study's recommendations.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution be distributed to the Will
County Governmental League for forwazding to the Illinois Department of Transportation
and members of the WIKADUKE Planning Council.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the Village of Plainfield on this 4th day of
October , 1999.
