Board received a report of the inspection of the boiler
of the heating plant in the City Bldg. being in good general
condition from the Travelers Indemnity Co. which was ordered
'laced on file .
At 10 A.M. o' clock such being the time fixed for the receipt
of proposed proposals for the installati on and equipment for •
. the T.i.B.B. & P.P. the Board was about to receive such sealed
proposals then a telegram was pre s,rated from the Hatfield Elec-
tric Comrariy as follows:

By consent of all bidders present , the same being The Westing-
house Electric Co. , Alber fer Pump & Condenser Co . , Skeldon bag-
ineering Co. , and the Elliott Co. the time for receiving bids •
ass continued until 11 o' clock in order tO permit the Hatfield
Electric Co . to present its bid for the above property.
The hour of 11 O' clock having arrived no person represent-
ing the Hatfield __1c,e t t`-c C o . was present , and no bid from such

By consent of all bidders present a 'further continuance of
the Board i'.leeting was ha. until 1 :30 o' clock 2.111.
At the hour of 1: 30 P.M. it was announced to the Board that
the Hatfield Electric Co would not present a bid. Protest was
then made by different bidders present against the Opening of
bids at this time. The Board then took the matter under con-
siderati on and on motion made b; Er. Pelt;, seconded by -.ir.
