The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond-, Indiana , met in regular session in the office of said 'Board Wednesday, November 10, 1920 , at 9 A.M. All the members of the said Board being orescnt Messrs. von rein, Taylor, and Peitz , the following proceedings were - had to-wit: - . The Board took up the matter of the protest of the Starr Piano Co. - against the filling in of the old Cumberland or National Road be- tween F.E.Bli.ck' s prop-erty and the Hain St. Bridge west of S. let St. After Mr. Butler representing the Starr Piano Co . made a state anent as\to the status of this -roach, and after i:ii . Harlan, Atty. for P.L.Sli ck had been heard, 'and upon the advice of the City Atty. in . regard to the legal point of this matter Mr. Feltz moved that the Cumberland or National Road beginning at- its intersection with S. 1st St. and continuing west to the White Water giver be kept open for the use Of the public:, and Forest Slick , and Isaac E. S;_=i th be instructed to remove from said highway such dirt or other obstruc- tions placed there by them, the same to be done under the direction of the City Engineer.
