The Board of I'ui: li c orls of the City of itichmond , Indiana, met in regular session in the office of said Board Thursday, 1VGV. 4, 1920 , at 9 A.M. All the members of the said Board being pre- sent I.iessrs. von Pein, Taylor, and Peitz , the following proceed-- -- ings were had to-wit : - The Board received a petition for the passage of a liesoluti on providing for the construction of a storm relief sewer to be built in South 7th St . to relieve the present conditi on on Mai n St . caased by the water backing up in the basements durI/ - ing heavy rains, signed by rV . D. Loehr and 19 others. Er. leltz moved that this petition be referred to the City .1tt-r. for in- formation as to how this can be financed as the Board approves of this improvement . seccnd.ed by Mr. Taylor so ordered. The Clerk presented the camplaints from Council of i ovellber 1st 1920, and the Clerk was instructed to write the Supt. of the P.C.C. & St . L. demanding that the North 12th Street cross- - ing be repaired at once , also to notify Mull & Williams to fill in and repair around their Gasoline tank within three (3') days from receipt of notice. The Board approved, the transfer of the Contract of Frank E .Crump for Glen Miller Park privileges to Benjamin F. �:illiams.., of the date of October 11th, 1920 . The Clerk presented a letter addres-secs to E.E.Miller, Fire Chief, signed by H. H. Friedley, State Fire inarshall, in regard to fir. Miller and one or more fi reieen attending the State Firemen' s Con- vention and Fire College tc be held at the State Fair Grounds , Indianapolis, Indi-ana, the week beginning i?ovember 29th , 192C . Mr. Peitz moved that the Chief and one other fireman to be se- lected by the Chief, attend this Convention, and that the City .itty. be instructed to draw up an Ordinance for an appropriation covering their expenses.
