Upon

Board instructed the C J. t.y Lttoraey to draw up an Ordinance for an
,appropriation of 1k40,000.00 to the account of Coal for the Munici-
pal Electric Lighting L Power Plant to present to the. Common Council
- at their meeting Monday, November lstq 1920.
I . Pryor presented his resign tion as street Commissioner to take
effect at 12 o' clock noon, November 1st , 1920 , Mr. Feltz moved that
his resignation he accented. Seconded by i' r. Taylor motion prevail-
ed.
Mr. Taylor moved that lbert Schneider be reappointed;pointed as Street Com-
missioner of the City of -li ci!mond . Seco,ided by Mr. Pelt potion
prevailed.
The specifications for the equipment and apparatus desired to be al=
chased for the Mimi cipal- Electric Li;_rrti -i = c Power Plait as i-cpared
by J. B . Lyon, Consulting Engineer , of Cincinnati , O. , were read to
the Board, and on motion of i.,r. Taylor seconded by Mr. Feltz such
specifications were aC_ opted unanimously by the Board , and were order-
ed placed en file .
On motion of Mr. Feltz , seconded 'o: Mr. '�.71or it was moved and
unanimously adopted that the City C1erl'. be instructed to advertise
for the receipt of bids at 10 o' clock 11.M. , Monday, November 15th,
1920 , for furnishing the following apparatus and ecuipmerlt for the
M."uili cipal Electric Lic'hti g Foyer Plait Of the City of PLi ch1_.oad ;
One ( 1) 5,000 Kilowatt Steam Turbine Generator Unit with
stiffitch board .
One ( 1) Surface Condenser and auxi_lliaroi es.
One ( 1 ) 75 Kilowatt, Motor generator Exciter Unit.
The Clerk thereupon submitted to the Board a form of advertisement
for bids in words and figures as follows to-c,i t : (here insert ) .
The .Board unanimously approved such fori:", of adverti seEe.i t and or-
dered the Clerk to make publication of the same as by Law required
Mr. Peitz moved that t- e City Bitty.. be instructed to fi le a 4,eti.-
I/ tion with the Public Service Commission to get their consent for
the City to enter into a contract for the purchase of new equip-
ment and apparatus for the Municipal Electric Lighting E.: Power
Plant as ordered advertised for. Seconded by Mr. Taylor so ordered.
The Board then adjourned.
