The Board of PuYlic V'/orks of the City of Richmond, Indiana,
met in regular session in the office of said Board Thursday,
October 14th, 1920, at 9 A.M. All the mmnbers of the said
Board beinn present Messrs . Von Pein, Taylor , and Peitz the
followi Vie_ proceedi s were had to-wit : -
The Board approved and signed the Contract & Agreement with
J. D. Lyon: of Cincinnati , 0. as Consulting En •ir.eer in theI/
matter of the purchasing of the equipment for the M.E.L. & P.P.
The Board approved t''Ie petition of .ors. Harry Dalby 'for permis-
sion to cut the curb for a 10' ft driveway infront of Real Estate
2e3 tip. D. Foulke' s Add. on South "A" Street between South 17th .&
18th Streets under private contract and at the petitioner' s
expense subject to the inspection and approval of the City Bug.
The Board approved the petition of Miss Mary Lancaster .for per-
mission tc cut the curb for a 10' ft driveway infront of Real
Estate :439 Elizabeth Starr' s Add. on North '"A" ;,treet between
North 13th & 14th Sts. under private contract and at the peti -
tioner' s expense subject to the inspection of, and approval of
the City. EnE i naer.
The Board instructed the City Attorney to notify the F.C.G. &
St . L. R. R. Co. to have the weeds and brush that over hang the
sidewalk cut at once from along their property on the west side
of North-west 2nd Street from Center St . north to the Railroad.
Mr.. Dillon, Supt. of the Li ;h t Plant , requested that an addition-
al appropriation of Five Hundred ( 500.00 ) Dollars be made to the
account of Insurance for the MUNICIPAL Electric Lighting & Power
Plant . Mr. Peitz moved that the recuest be t ranted and an Ord.
prepared to present to Cou ;.cil. Seconded. by Mr. Taylor motion
prevailed.
The Board then adjourned.
