The Board of PublicWorks of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met in
regular session in the office of said Board Monday, October 11,
1920, at 9 A.M. All the members of the said Board being Present
Messrs . Von Pein, Taylor , and Peitz the following proceedings were
had to-wit : -
Mr. E. M. Campfield, 1.'alker . Land, & Walter McConaha a Committee
from the Rotary Club appeared before the Board to get the Board' s
assistance and approval in regard to the placing of ri ?'ns at Cien
Miller Park entrance , on the roads entering the City , and in the
- City for the benefit of Auto Tourists which was approved by the
Board, and the Coy mittee referred to take the matter up with the
- City Engineer, and Park Supt.
The Board received E.. petition for the pa9sage of a resoluti on pro-
viding for the improvement of ,'i orth 13th Street from H to 3 by
- grading and graveling the roadway , also cement curb & gutter on
both sides of sErl d street 'between the points named above, signed
by Spencer B . Miller and four others. Referred to the City Eng.
- for plans.
The Board received a petition for an arc light to be placed at the
center of South 22nd & "B" St. signed by Conrad Meet & two others .
The Board instructed the Supt . of the Light Plant to place a light
in the above named locati on.
The Conditi on of the crossing at 7th 6, Main Streets -was referred
to theCity Engineer.
The Board then adjourned.
