A RESOLUTION REGARDING THE
EXTENSION OF VAN DYKE ROAD
IN THE VILLAGE OF PLAINFIELD, WILL COUNTY, ILLINOIS
WHEREAS, the Village of Plainfield is a member of the Will County
Governmental League Transportation Committee; and
WHEREAS, the Will County Governmental League requires a "local match"
resolution of all project sponsors according to its Surface Transportation Program (STF)
Implementation Policy; and
WHEREAS, the Village of Plainfield's Extension of Van Dyke Road will be
considered by the Will County Governmental League; and
WHEREAS, the Village of Plainfield is capable, willing and able to fund the
required local match (20% of the total Phase II Engineering and Construction costs)
during the programmed year.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF PLAINFIELD, WILL COUNTY, ILLINOIS AS
FOLLOWS:
1. That the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Plainfield, Will County,
Illinois do hereby authorize the expenditure of funds from the Village of Plainfield's
Capital Improvement Budget for the Extension of Van Dyke Road to be funded through
the Will County Governmental League Surface Transportation Program.
PASSED this 1 ~ day of ~ctcber 1998 with 6 members voting aye,
0 members voting nay, the Mayor 0 voting, and with 0 members absent,
said vote being: 6 yes , 0 na .

SUBJECT: Local Match Resolution
As stated in the Will County Governmental League (WCGL) 1999-2493
Surfaie Transportation Program (STP) applicatian5, each project sponsor
must provide a funding source for the local match of money. The end of
the year is quickly approaching and now is the time to submit your
resolution to provide funding for the local match (20% of the total Phase II
Engineering and Construction costs).
A sample resolution has been attached for you. Please submit an original
of your resolution to me at 432 W. Nebraska 5t., Frankfort, IL 60423 by
Friday, October 9, 1998.
