WHEREAS, the Village of Plainfield is desirous of examining long term
alternative water supplies to correct the existing well situation; and
WHEREAS, the engineer consulting firm of Baxter and Woodman has
been engaged by the Village previously to evaluate alternate water source systems;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Mayor and Board of
Trustees that said contract shall be expanded and amended to include data collection and
representation to secure a Lake Michigan water allocation for a fee not to exceed
$9,000.00 pursuant to the Baxter & Woodman proposal attached.
