RESOLUTION REGARDING VAN DYKE ROAD
FROM U.S. ROUTE 30 TO 135TH STREET
WHEREAS, the Village of Plainfield has applied to the Will County Governmental League
for funding of certain improvements to Van Dyke Road from U.S. Route 30 to 135th Street; and
WHEREAS, the total estimated cost of the project is $3,789,963.00; and
WHEREAS, the Village of Plainfield is capable, willing and able to fund the local share of
the project which includes all of the right-of-way acquisition estimated costs of $500,000.00, Phase
1 costs estimated at $89,963.00 and 20% of the Phase 2 costs estimated at $20,000.00 of
$100,000.00 and Phase 3 (subject to the $1,000,000.00 WCGL limit) casts of 2,100,000.00 of
$3,100,000.00 in estimated costs.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF PLAINFIELD, WILL COUNTY, AS FOLLOWS:
That the Village of Plainfield is capable, willing and able to fund the local share of the
project which includes all of the right-of way acquisition estimated casts of $500,000.00, Phase 1
costs estimated at $89,963.00 and 20% of the Phase 2 costs estimated at $20,000.00 of $100,000.00
and Phase 3 (subject to the $1,000,000.00 WCGL limit) costs of $2,100,000.00 of $3,100,000A0
in estimated costs.
