RESOLUTION REQUESTING RELOCATION OF BUS STOP
WHEREAS, there currently exists a Northbound New Jersey
Transit Bus Stop at the intersection of Roosevelt Avenue and
Pershing Avenue South; and
WHERAS, the Borough of Carteret (the "Borough") believes it is
in the best interest of the community to relocate the bus stop to
the corner of Salem and Roosevelt Avenues;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and
Council of the Borough of Carteret that this resolution be
forwarded to New Jersey Transit as a request that the
Northbound Bus Stop, currently located on the corner of
Roosevelt and Pershing Avenues, be relocated to the corner of
Salem and Roosevelt Avenues;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and Borough
Clerk be and are hereby authorized to execute such
documents, on behalf of the Borough, as are necessary to
accomplish the relocation.
Adopted this 12th day of October, 1999
and certified as a true copy of the
original on October 13, 1999.
