A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD APPROVING
AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT
BETWEEN THE CITY OF LYNWOOD AND THE COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES
WHEREAS, The City of Lynwood contracts for facets of animal care and control
services; and
WHEREAS, these services provided are executed by the County of Los Angeles
Department of Animal Care and Control; and
WHEREAS, the five year contract between the City and the County of Los
Angeles will expire of June 30, 2014;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES
HEREBY RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the City Council approves that certain Agreement for Animal
Care. and Control Services, dated as of July 1, 2014, between the City of Lynwood and
the County of Los Angeles, in the form presented to this meeting.
Section 2. The City Council authorizes the City Manager to sign the
Agreement referenced above in Section 1.
Section 3. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its
adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 15th day of July, 2014.
