Each one of us can start by: 1. Controlling our own anger and provide positive role modeling. 2. Taking responsibility for preventing and reducing the amount of violence by providing peaceful conflict resolution, especially when dealing with youth. 3. Eliminating guns from our homes or keeping them unloaded and securely stored and locked. 4. Assuming the responsibility that we are all accountable for the fact that a level of violence has become acceptable in our homes and communities. S.
