Thurs. Aug. 26, 1920.
The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana,
met in regular session in the office of said Board Thursday,
" August 26, 1920, at 9 A.M. A11 members of the said Board being
present Messrs. Von Pein, Taylor, and Peltz, the following pro-
ceedings . were had to-wit:-
The Board met to hear remonstrances if any, of persons primar- •
ily. assessed on account of the construction of a cement road-
way in the Alley running north & south between South 3rd & 4th
Sts. from South "C" to South "D" St. under Improvement Resolu-
tion #577-1920. No one appearing or remonstrating the Board
approved the Final Assessment .Roll confirming in all things the
Original Assessment Roll as heretofore approved, and now direct
that the same be transmitted forthwith' to the Dept. of Finan.ce.
The Board met to hear remonstrances if any, of persons prima-
rily assessed on account of the construction of cement road-
way in the 1st alley south of West Main St. from West 1st to W.
2nd St. under Improvement Resolution #574-1920. No one appear-
ing . or . remonstrating the Board approved the Final Assessment
Roll confirming in all things the original assessment roll as.
heretofore approved, and now direct the same to be transmitted
forthwith to the Dept. of Finance .
The Board received a letter fit) m Stephen O. Yates requesting
that the City take-a more firm action in regard to having the
weeds cut over the City. The Board instructed Mr. Davis, City
Engineer to write up a;-:notice and have it published in the
daily paper, calling the public' s attention to the City Ordin-
- ance inregard to the cutting of weeds. .
The Board then adjourned. •
