The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met in regular session in the office of said Board Thursday, August 12th, 1920, at 9 A.M. All the members of the said Board being present Messrs. Von Pein, Taylor, and Peitz, the following pro- ceedings were had to-wit: - The Board granted Levi Peacock permission to gravel at his own expense,West Main St. from 8th Street west. Mr. Dillon, Supt. of the M.E.L. & P.P:, reported that satisfac- • tory arrangements have been made with the Ride mond Light, Heat & Power Co. in regard to the water supply for the Light Plant store room. The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, India»-e , met in regular session in the office of said Board Monday, August 16, 1920, at 9 A.M. All the members of the said Board being present Messrs. Von Pein, Taylor, and Peltz,', the following pro- ceedings were had to-wit : - The Board granted Thomas F. Conniff permission to lay under private contract, and at his own expense , a 5' ft cement sidewalk infront of real estate #98 Grand Boulavard Add. on the west side of North 23rd St. subject to the inspection and approval of the City Engineer. The Board received a petition for the passage of a resolution for the reopening of an alley running from Laurel St. to Railroad St. signed by J. E. Pugh and twenty-two others which was referred to the City Engineer and City Attorney for investigation, and to make a report on at next meeting of the Board. The City Engineer reported the completion of the contract under Improvement Resolution #579-1920 . Mr. Peitz moved that it be ac- cepted, and the Clerk be ordered to prepare an assessment roll. Seconded by Mr. Taylor motion prevailed.
