_ City of Richmond, Indiana.
Monday August 9th. 1920.
The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana met
_ it regular session in the offices of the said Board Monday Aug.
9th. 1920 at 9 :00 A.M. All members-of the said Board being
., present. Messrs. Von Pein, Taylor, and Peltz, the following
proceedings were had to wit:
The Board approved the primary assessment roll in the matter
_ of Improvement Res.#577-1920 , for theconstruction of a cement
alley running North and South between South 3d. & 4th. streets,
from South C . Street to South D. Street.
Mr. Peitz moved that the City Engineer be instructed. to have
Mr. Smith tighten the bolts or do any other necessary work on
the Doran Bridge. Seconded by Mr. Taylor, so ordered.
Mr. Butler of the Starr Piano Company asked that the City act
with the Piano Company and Street Railroad Company in the matter
of keeping a roadway opened between the Main Street Bridge and
the property occupied by F. E. Slick. Refered to City Engineer.
Mr. John;>on, Mngr. of. the, Richmond Light Heat & Power Company
brought before, the Board the matter of removing the water pipe
across their grounds, thus disconnecting the line running to
the old Light Heat & Power Company plant, which line furnishes
water. Referred to City Attorney, City Engineer and Supt. of
the M. E. L. & P. Plant with power to act.
• The Board then adjourned.
